Service Day:  Wednesday and Thursday carts out by 7:00AM.

Trash/Recycle are collected on the SAME day. Main Street and north will be collected on Wednesday and south of Main St. will be collected on Thursday.  

SPACE CARTS 3 FEET APART and 3 FEET FROM ANY OBJECT.

 Trash/Recycle/Bulk:  Everything is collected on your service day and must be out by 7:00am.

Trash – All wet kitchen/bathroom must be inside of your trash cart with the lid closed and set out by the curb no later than 7:00am.

Recycle – Collected weekly on your service day.  Place only clean approved items inside your cart with the lid closed. 

Acceptable Recycle Items:  Keep it very simple and basic.  If you are not sure if it can be recycled, most likely it cannot.  Acceptable items: clean cardboard, paper, plastics 1 and 2 which are water bottles, detergent bottles, shampoo bottles, etc.…, glass bottles, and steel and tin cans

Unacceptable Recycle Items:  Styrofoam, wood, grass, dirt, appliances/electronics, clothes, shoes, extension cords, and trash.

Bulk, Extra Trash, and Limbs – Collected Every Other Week on your service day beginning the first week of November.

How Much Bulk: Up to four (4) yards of bulk, extra trash, limbs, and brush.

What is a Bulk Item? Bulk is waste items not generated on a normal basis.  Wet kitchen trash must be in trash cart, not on the ground for bulk pick.

Bulk items include furniture, mattresses (must be bagged, which can be purchased at a grocery store), appliances (A/C units, refrigerators, and freezers must have freon removed by a licensed professional and appliance must be tagged), carpet (follow same guidelines as those for limbs/brush), hot-water heaters, and fence panels.  Fence panels must be cut into 4’x4’ sections.

Limbs/brush must be in clear individual piles measuring not more than 3’x3’x3’ and 50 pounds or less AND bundled and tied.

No loose wood.  Wood/lumber must be bundled and tied together not more than 4 feet in length weighing 50 pounds or less.

Prohibited Items:  Never place any of these items in your carts.  They can cause our trash trucks to catch on fire.

No Batteries, Paint, Gasoline/Kerosene, Motor Oil, Automotive Fluids, Pool Chlorine, Fertilizer, Pesticides, Herbicides, Bleach, Household Cleaning Products, Medical Waste, Radioactive Material, Radioactive Medical Waste, Tires, Gun Powder, Bullets, Explosives, Fireworks, or Cooking Oil.  

Other Prohibited Items:  Please do not place any of these items in your cart.  They can cause damage to our trucks.

Dirt, Rocks, Bricks, Tile, Shingles, Concrete, or any material generated by a contractor including construction, remodeling, or landscaping.
